By using Expat Pathways you agree to these terms. They set out how the service may be used, the limits of what we provide, and how disputes are handled.

These terms are provided in good faith and are scheduled for professional legal review before commercial launch.

What Expat Pathways is

Expat Pathways provides general educational information, comparison tools, planning features and, on request, introductions to third-party professionals. We do not provide personalised legal, tax, financial, immigration, medical or investment advice.

Regulatory status and availability

Expat Pathways is an information and introduction service, not a regulated financial advisory firm. We do not assess whether an investment, pension arrangement, insurance policy or provider is suitable for you. The presence of a country guide does not mean that introductions or regulated services are available in that country. A provider must confirm that it can lawfully serve you for the specific service and jurisdictions involved.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity carried out under your account. You must provide accurate information and update it when it changes.

Professional introductions

When you request an introduction we may share the information you have provided with a professional we consider relevant, only with your explicit consent. Any subsequent engagement is a matter directly between you and the professional. Expat Pathways is not a party to that engagement and does not endorse specific outcomes or guarantee availability, pricing, response times or results.

Provider fees and commercial relationships

Our network is not whole-of-market. We may receive compensation from providers, as explained in our commercial disclosure. Before engaging a provider, obtain its legal identity, relevant permissions, service terms, fees and complaints procedure. Do not assume that advice or a consultation is free.

Editorial content

Guides, comparisons and country pages are educational and are updated periodically. Content may not reflect the most recent legislative or regulatory changes. Always confirm decisions with a qualified specialist authorised to advise for your circumstances.

Acceptable use

• No unlawful, deceptive or abusive activity.
• No scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to overload the service.
• No misrepresentation of professional credentials on any part of the platform.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Expat Pathways is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for decisions taken on the basis of general information without qualified professional advice.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be notified where practicable.

Governing law and contact
